Registration is now open for adult and youth swimming classes! Get comfortable in the water in a beginner level class or develop swim techniques and strength in an intermediate level class! GT Leadership Challenge Course Grand Opening

On Tuesday, September 15 from 3:00-5:00 p.m, Georgia Tech will host the grand opening of the new Leadership Challenge Course. Like no other, this custom designed course creates unique challenges and obstacles in which participants must learn, develop, and utilize leadership and teamwork skills to complete. Watch President G.P. "Bud" Peterson and Buzz as they ride the zip line for our ribbon cutting ceremony, and learn more about how this course can fit your organization's needs during a complete demonstration! GT Annual Ski Trip
This year's GT Ski Trip to Steamboat Springs, Colorado will be December 12-18. Information session and first ski trip meeting will be Thursday, September 17 at 6:30 p.m. in room 117 of the Student Services Building. For more information please visit www.crc.gatech.edu/skitrip.

Women’s Sailing Day (faculty and staff welcome)

*Women’s Sailing Day*
Saturday, September 6, 10:00 a.m.
Meet at Campus Recreation Center (CRC) Entrance
$10 plus money for lunch at Subway
Organized by the GT Sailing Club

Come and join us for some Women’s Sailing, where we will teach you how to sail, tie ropes, and read wind directions. It is fun and enjoyable in the fall strong breeze that will let you experience real sailing. Be outside the CRC at 10:00 a.m. and bring a little lunch money for our stop at Subway. It is a fun and enjoyable experience.

Hi Women Sailors or soon to be Women Sailors.

Some notes for Sailing Day at Lake Lanier. (40 Minutes Away)
1. Yes you can bring spouses and other friends. Faculty and Staff are all invited. No Experience Needed!
2. I will teach you the basic of sailing. Tying ropes, learning code flags, and understanding wind directions.
3. You will each get a chance on the boat. Bring water proof clothes, so no cotton that soaks up water. Bring wind pants and wind jackets if you don't have great water-proof clothes.
4. Bring some other great activities you can do on the beach while we take others on the boat, like frisbee, volleyball, and football.
5. You are always welcome to come to our meetings on
Thursday 7:30 at the CRC Room 251 to learn more and go out sailing more.
6. We carpool and need drivers usually so come prepared to drive and if not we can jump in the car with each other. Bring money if you are riding with your driver please.

7. Sailing usually ends about 4:30 - 5:00
