Would You Like to Contribute to this Blog?

Contributor’s Fact Sheet for GT Training Blog

The Georgia Tech Training Blog is located online at: http://gatechtraining.blogspot.com/

In addition to the Training Team and OOD, on-campus trainers/SMEs, off-campus trainers and other interested folks may contribute to the blog. If you do not have a login/password for the site but would like to contribute, please contact Shannon Scott at shannon.scott@gatech.edu or 404-894-7284.

Contributors will receive an email invitation to join the site as a contributor once they indicate interest. You must follow the instructions in the invitation email to set up your own password/profile.

Topics

As a contributor, you are free to post anything related to Training or Professional Development that would be of interest to Georgia Tech employees.

Some topic areas you may want to consider:

  • Specific Training Content
  • Tips, Tricks and Shortcuts
  • Class Announcements
  • FAQs
  • Resources
  • Best Practices
  • Profiles
  • Training Events/Recaps
  • Photos

  • Lessons Learned/Application

Posting

Contributors’ posts are not moderated and are visible to anyone on the internet, so please keep this in mind when posting content. Editing/proofreading are highly recommended.

In addition to a title, you will want to Label your posts. Use labels that will help your reader find the article (subject/topic/audience). Be sure to include your name as a label.


Photos

You may use photos on the blog as long as they conform to the Georgia Tech Photography Usage policy.

You may use your own photos. If you wish to obtain photos fro the Georgia Tech photo archives, they are available online at: http://www.gatech.edu/photos/
