Georgia Tech's 2009 Leadership Forum

Georgia Tech College of Management and TalentQuest will help business leaders do more with less through the 2009 series of The Leadership Forum.

2009 Theme | The Expectation Economy: Doing More with Less

The Leadership Forum, founded by John Horton in 1996, is designed to improve business performance through better thinking. It is committed to providing fresh perspectives, new thinking, and challenging ideas from the world's best business thinkers whose "star is rising".

Speakers scheduled for 2009 include:

  • Daniel Burrus, a leading technology forecaster and author (TechnoTrends), who will discuss “Future Business Models: Doing More with Less” on February 10.
  • Michael Gelb, author of the bestsellers How to Think like Leonardo da Vinci and Innovate like Edison, who will discuss, “How to Innovate like Thomas Edison” on March 10.
  • Dave Ulrich, a leading HR/talent management guru and business professor at the University of Michigan, who will discuss “Leadership Brand: Developing Customer-focused Leaders” on May 19.
  • Janelle Barlow, president of the multinational consulting firm TMI US and author of Branded Customer Service: The New Competitive Edge and A Complaint Is a Gift, who will discuss “Branded Customer Service: The New Competitive Edge” on July 21.
  • Noel Tichy, a leading authority on leadership development and professor of organizational behavior at the University of Michigan, who will discuss “Judgment: How Winning Leaders Make Great Calls” (also the title of his book) on September 15.
  • Jane Goldner, creator of the Business Operating System Solution for Enterprise Results and author of the forthcoming What’s Under the Hood? A 10-point Check-up for Driving High Performance in Business, who will discuss “Alignment” on November 10.

All sessions are held at Georgia Tech College of Management from 8:30 AM to noon on program days.
