I went to a "lunch and learn" yesterday, hosted by the Marketing & Communications folks, about sustainability and paper and printing.
We tend to buy recycled paper products in my office. And we have reduced the number of pages printed - doing more digitally. What I found interesting is that paper manufacturers have a hard time getting enough recycled paper to use for their products.
So, here's the challenge: chose one quiet day in December, and review all of your training materials, files, marketing materials, etc. Everything that is outdated, incorrect or obsolete needs to go to the paper recycle bin - and extra supplies (like binders or markers) should go back to the supply closet.
You will feel great when it's done. Your workspace will be cleaner and you can begin the new year with a lighter load.
When you finished your big clean up, post a comment here with how many pounds you think you recycled!
