Web Accessibility Training

The Center for Assistive Technology & Environmental Access (CATEA) is offering an online training course on web accessibility and universal design. Now entering its second year, the course provides invaluable information about developing accessible web content from the ground up, as well as retrofitting existing content for users with visual disabilities or alternative input methods. Training is broken up into several modules, each of which can be completed separately by passing a short quiz. Once all modules are completed, participants will receive a certificate of completion from CATEA, and the opportunity to gain continuing education units (CEUs) towards professional certification renewals.

Topics of the course include:

  • Standards & Guidelines
  • Proper Page Layout
  • Making Images Accessible
  • Navigation & Links
  • Dynamic Content
  • ...and more!
